Meet Our Founder

Zansèt means Ancestor in the Haitian-Creole language.

Growing up as a first-generation Haitian-American, tea was always the remedy to all ailments (aside from castor oil, which we call lwil maskriti).

Tea brought us together as a family, in celebration, in grief, and other major life experiences.

My siblings and I grew up with our maternal grandmother and mother foraging herbs, creating unique herbal blends, and brewing large pots of tea made with love.

Zanset Tea Co. was created in 2020, as an homage to this intimate and familial tea ritual. I have created these custom, delicious tea blends in hopes of inspiring you and loved ones to live in joy, one cup at a time.
